Just finished: Gridlinked by Neal L. Asher 📚. They mentioned this on The Skeptics’ Guide to the Universe podcast and I’m very happy with the recommendation. Published in 2001 before we all plugged ourselves into the internet via our smartphones and poses some interesting questions about human augmentation and the future role of AI in society.
